Pharmaceutical Advertising -VP Account Group Supervisor. Northern New Jersey
My client an excellent Pharmaceutical Advertising agency in the local area is actively seeking a VP Account Group Supervisor. Individuals at this level will oversee and direct the strategy for assigned brand areas.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage & mentor the account team for assigned brand(s)
- Ability & experience growing business, both organically and new business
- Make strategic and tactical recommendations to the clients (positioning, creative branding, and marketing.)
- Facilitate the development of creative briefs with the clients.
- Establish creative direction with the client.
- Manage and develop junior account team members.
- Thorough understanding of client positioning and competitive market forces
- Experience and ability working on multiple accounts or a very large single company account
- Develop and manage assigned client budgets to stay within budget and ensure account forecasted profitability.
Requirements:
· Experience in Pain/Pain Management therapeutic area required
· 5+ years or more of Pharmaceutical Advertising agency experience
· Account team management experience
· Strong Strategic Account experience
· Working experience in agency processes and operations
· Excellent communication skills in both a team setting as well as in front of the client (pitches & proposals)
· BA/BS degree
· Product Launch experience desired
