CNC Manufacturing Engineer – programming, turning, process development, projects.
We are searching for a Senor Manufacturing Engineer who can focus on developing new processes, machine tool technology and machining strategies. Most of their products involve CNC turning, however, they also have machining center drilling and grinding processes. The Sr. CNC Manufacturing Engineer will need project management and past experience purchasing CNC technology and preparing R.O.I’s. Knowledge of machine controls, macro programming cam software and solid modeling is a must. This position will review prints, estimates cost, develop processes, select equipment, develop tooling packages and prototypes. Engineers with advanced CNC machine tool knowledge and 7 plus years of implementing cost effective and efficient processes should submit their resume. Experience with multi axis lathes, live tooling, mill / turn, swiss turn lathes and machining centers is preferred. Candidates with a 4 year engineering degree are also preferred. This position will play a major role in ensuring modern CNC technology and machining advancements are integrated into their current equipment mix. The plants are well laid out, clean and organized.
7 plus years of process development, CNC programming, multi-axis turning, some milling, solid modeling, cam software, cutting tool application, fixturing, prototyping, capital equipment justification experience and thirst for technology. Degreed engineers are preferred.
