Mechanical Project Engineer

Major player in the construction Industry is looking for a senior-level engineering position that will provide you with a variety of mechanical engineering responsibilities as well as supervisory and oversight roles and growth potential.

You will be involved in nuclear power plant systems design and modification; sizing, specifying, and selection of mechanical components and equipment; systems analysis and related design calculation development and review.

You will be working in a team environment and may be required to provide technical direction and informal mentoring to others.

Additionally, you�re previous experience should support your involvement in estimating and scheduling projects, establishing the proper resources, and ensuring timely, cost-effective and high quality project completion.

Client interface will be required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. 

Requirements A BS or MS in Civil Engineering and at least 7 years of related mechanical systems, piping design, and engineering experience are required. Experience with process piping, pumps, and wastewater equipment are all desired.

Knowledge of overall flow system design elements including component specification development, piping design including material selection and layout, stress modeling and hydraulic analysis capabilities a plus.

Should be familiar with typical applicable codes/standards, such as ASME, ANSI, etc. and should be knowledgeable on typical Pressurized Water Reactor design.

A Professional Engineering License is highly desirable.
